Scope and Contents Materials in the collection cover a majority of Athens Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church's 300 year plus history. Of particular note are the 113 Glebe Deed documents from the 1780's through the 1820's and other Deeds from 1744 through 1966. Scope and Contents Church Bulletins contain the nearly complete running of weekly bulletins produced by Zion Lutheran Church for the greater part of the 51 year stretch between 1929 and 1979. These bulletins informed the congregation on events and developments at the church as well as religious insturction and messages.
