Scope and Contents Two volume generally containing the name, age, country of origin, cause of committal, and date of dismissal for individuals in the Greene County poorhouse, also referred to as the County Poor Farm or almshouse. In earlier records, past employement and work assignments at the poorhouse are often included. Some additional notes such as adoptions, trials, and comments about behavior are included.
