Scope and Contents

Series contains the personal papers and materials of Katharine DuBois Meserole King Decker of Catskill, NY. Included is correspondence with her father Walter Monfort Meserole, her stepmother, and her aunt Mary A. D. Stone, as well as various other materials related to her ownership of 45 Liberty Street, her activities in the Community, and her involvement with the Greene County Historical Society as a member of the original Library Committee of the Vedder Research Library. Of note is a painting given to Katharine by Eden Blakelock of Catskill in 1968, and some sketch work she produced as a revenue source for rennovations required at her Liberty Street home after she purchased it in 1915. Materials are organized in rough chronological order.
