Scope and Contents
From the Collection:
Collection contains the administrative records of the Greene County Farm Bureau from its inception in 1917 through the administration of E. G. Brougham in 1952. Included are monthly narrative reports and dexcriptive annual reports of the farm buruea, both of which include membership lists, locations of events, bureau initiative and program descriptions, and paper ephemera related to events and programs held each year. Also included in the collection are the typewritten transcripts of the radio broadcasts delivered by E. G. Brougham on local radio stations from the late 1930s through 1942. Following World War Two the Greene County 4-H Club filed annual reports jointly with the Farm Bureau.
