Scope and Contents
From the Collection:
Collection comprises a small selection of materials related to the Lee and Bagley families of Old Windham and Ashland. Of note is a souvenir ribbon bearing a likeness and biography of the Marquis de Lafayatte from his 1824 visit to the United States. Also of note is a funeral address given by a Mr. "L. King" on the passing of Reverend Addi Lee of the Methodist Church at Ashland. Other materials are primarily letters of family consoling Sumner Lee on the passing of his mother (widow of Rev. Lee) Mrs. Mary Bagley Lee after her passing in 1906. Also included is a photo of the Ashland Band around 1900 with all members identified.
