Scope and Contents
The full title of this survey is "A Map of the lands of Henry Bruhans and Temperance his wife, and John Langendyck, Jr. and Elizabeth his wife in the Town of Catskill, County of Greene. Divided between them by order of the Supreme Court of Judicature of the State of New York 29th April 1815.
As such, the map reflects a color-coded division of a selection of lands on the Embought at the southeastern corner of the Town of Catskill extending from the Hudson River to the Kaaterskill Creek. Divided parcels adjoin lands of Jacob Van Orden and the heirs of William Van Orden. Lands of the Burhans are colored blue, and lands of Langendyck are colored red.
