Scope and Contents
Item contains a record of burials made in the Town of Catskill Cemetery in Jefferson Heights for the first half of the twentieth century. The first pages are an alphabetical index of surnames and subsequent entries list the name of the individual, date of death, age, and date of burial. Also given are the lot number and measurement of the site of the burial and the attending funeral home.

592 Sheets (Bound Volume) : Narrow lined ledger bound in boards covered with decorated canvas and leather corners. Spine is worn canvas with no legible markings ; 6.5" x 15.5" inches approx.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
Item was discovered by Greene County Historical Society Trustee Jim Planck on a shelf in Rodgers Book Barn in Hillsdale, New York. Item had been removed "from a home in Catskill" and was purchased for fifteen dollars.
