Scope and Contents
Book of Psalms originally belonging to Rev. Margaret (Maggie) Newton Van Cott. Van Cott was the first woman to be licensed to preach in the Methodist Episcopal Church. She made frequent trips to Greene County, and lived on Liberty St. in Catskill and in Jefferson Heights. She is buried in the Cairo Cemetery.
