The collection includes forty seven diaries kept by Carrie Spalding Ingalls: eight from 1886-1893, thirty nine from 1930-1951. A volume in blue binding summarizes the diaries. There are digitized transcriptions (consult Librarian for access) and a Donald Teator article on an Ingalls relative.

Carrie Spalding Ingalls, daughter of Edgar and Hannah M. (Hotaling) Spalding of Lamb's Corner, married Truman Lincoln Ingalls of Norton Hill (hamlet in the town of Greenville, Greene County, N.Y.), a farmer in that area.
