Scope and Contents

Item is a photographic album containing images commemorating the construction of the "new" Greene County Courthouse and Greene County Jail in 1908. Images include photographs of the exterior of the Courthouse, Jail, and Sherrif's Home, as well as photographs of the interior of the Courthouse showing the courtrooms and various offices of county departments. Also included are portraits and group photos of members of the County Board of Supervisors who spearheaded the project and photos of the owners of the company that built the complex.
