A Selection of Materials from Thomas Satterlee and Joan Satterlee

Collection — Box: MSS Box 31
Identifier: MSS 2021.0006

Scope and Contents

This selection of documents represents a batch of materials collected by Thomas and Joan Satterlee at various local antique stores over the past thirty years. The items represented are mostly promotional handbills and advertising for local businesses, and represent ephemera which is unique to the historical society's holdings because of their disposable nature. Of particular note is a handbill explaining the symbolism of the Ku Klux Klan which was printed and distributed by a chapter of the Klan based in Coxsackie.

A complete inventory of documents within is included with this finding aid.
