Scope and Contents This series contains four scrapbooks from the Van Valkenburg family of Athens. Three of these were originally compiled by Athens Town Historian Nellie McKnight and were passed by her to Mr. Amos Flint, son of Orin Flint, prior to her passing in 1956. The compiler of the fourth and latest scrapbook is unknown. McKnight Scrapbook Three contains a selection of interesting manuscript material that predates the period in which the scrapbook was compiled.

Scope and Contents The contents of this collection are primarily handwritten documents donated in three separate accessions in 1995, 2010, and 2021 by grandchildren of Orin Q. Flint. Boxes one and two are organized separately in their own chronological arragements, with some overlap covering the lifetime of Orin Flint himself.
