Scope and Contents
File contains a selection of papers of the Abeel Family of Catskill, including the 1811 Will of David Abeel. Within the file are several indentures for land and a map showing subdivided parcels in one division of the Lindsey Patent. This particular map also shows the original boundaries of the Village Cemetery in Catskill as first laid out below Botsford Road [now Thompson Street]. Other documents within the file are inventoried.
