Scope and Contents
File contains miscellaneous papers of Milton Becker, a chevrolet automobile dealer from the Village of Catskill. Included in the file are an early mortgage and bond made out by John Wilbur and Humphrey Wilbur of Greenville with Justus Lobdell of Durham. It is unknown why these papers were in the posession of Mr. Becker. Also included is some corresopondence with Harold Becker, who may have been Milton's son, regarding the automotive business, and a selection of bonds made by Milton Becker with others for various sums of money. Parties named on these bonds are Almira Becker and Darius Allen. Lastly is a vast collection of wedding invitations sent to Milton Becker, and these should be inventoried.
