File contains several dozen deeds and indentures for land in the Town and Village of Athens. Of particular note in this file are several very early indentures and deeds which are descriptive and note certain buildings and businesses which existed in the Village of Athens at an early date.

From the Collection: 15 Cubic Feet (Four vertical file cabinets comprising fifteen drawers holding paper documents grouped in folders by appropriate subject or creator, nominally sorted in alphabetical order.)
1949 title abstract and chain of title for land bounded by Green's Lake with casino, dance hall, ice house, and bungalow owed by Lillian Mauter and conveyed in 1866 by Isaac and Elizabeth Van Hoesen to Casper R. Van Housen.
1785 indenture by Roelif Schermerhoorn to Evert Van Loon of Loonenburgh.
