Ledger contains maps corresponding to descriptions of deeds filed at the Greene County Clerk's office for lands on the east side of Catskill Creek covering the neighborhoods of lower/middle Main Street and Catskill Point. Original Deed descriptions commence apparently with purchases by John Cantine around 1795, and each described patent or parcel contains a chain of custody for subsequent divisions of each lot dating forward to the 1870s.
