Scope and Contents This ledger contains the minutes of the Village Trustees from 1928 to 1938, but also includes at its beginning the minutes of the Water Commission of the Village from 1927 to 1928. The Ledger was created for the Water Commission after the Village Board resolved to put in new piping in 1927, but the ledger was repurposed as a minutes book for the Village Board itself after 1928 when their preceding ledger was filled.

The Minutes end in 1920 with a resolution concerning the consolidation of the Village and Town of Athens into a unified Health District per a State mandate.
