One appears to be a part of a letter and a poem titled "A Song about a Butterfly Ball" written by a Henry Bowen of Shaftsbury, Vermont and ostensibly addressed to Mrs. Susan S. Curtis also of Vermont. The other item is a letter, possibly written during the Civil War, and formatted as to be virtually illegible. It is somewhat damaged and the sender and recipient are unknown.
