Scope and Contents From the Series: Series contains the papers of James Pinckney, Charles Pinckney, and the Pinckney Insurance Agency of Catskill NY. Included are insurance documents for local homes and businesses as well as sundry papers of James Pinckney which predate the founding of the insurance company his son later took over. Upon Charles Pinckney's death in 1891 the papers of the agency fell to the care of S. Barent DuBois who was the Administrator of Charles Pinckney's estate.
