Six irregular sized map sections in slightly damaged condition and one legal size survey description all formerly bound in a single packet sealed with wax. Items are numbered in sequence they are supposed to be viewed. The Map sections are particularly interesting as they show the homes of property owners along the length of the route and include the names of the home owners.

Map is a copy of an 1825 survey that was traced by Charles Van Orden showing the proposed route of a road commencing at the intersections of Main and Green Streets in Catskill and proceeding southeast along the route of modern lower Main Street heading to Catskill Point. Map is a survey composed by John D. Spoor for Isaac Northrop and Company in 1801 showing a newly surveyed road leading northwest from the edge of the surveyed lots of the proposed Village of Athens. The Road is shown as commencing at the river and proceeding westward through the surveyed lots (now modern Second Street) and then proceeding along a route northwest (along the route of modern Schoharie Turnpike) towards the home of Johannis Hallenbeck.
