Scope and Contents Letter from William Worthington Gale in Roxbury to his uncle William Worthington in Saybrook. The author mentions "Yesterday there was a party of about 300 Men Went and burnt the Light Hous and took 2 burges and 6? men of which they wounded in the fray. Every day more or less of the Regulars are taken our men are in high Spirits."

Scope and Contents Letter from Joseph Forbes discussing religion and personal matters to his "cossin" Leonard Bronk. The reverse contains a letter from Leonard to Joseph Forbes informing him that his letter intended for Miss Polly and Rachal was not received by them. Leonard also mentions all of the wagons full of provisions going up their road to Albany for the Army in Canada.

Scope and Contents Letter from Samuel Van Vechten in Skenesborough to Leonard Bronk in Coxsackie. The letter refers to Leonard not replying to a previous letter "on acct of the Great Damage Your Place had sustained by the uncommon flood of water that had been at that Place..." Van Vechten mentions his poor health and the poor health of the "men on this ground". Other updates include prisoners being taken to Ticonderoga and the implied marriage of Annetie Van Orden.
