Scope and Contents
Letter from Samuel Van Vechten asking Leonard Bronk to take a ride with him to "Sopes" and to the "Palse." On the reverse side, there is an unfinished note, seemingly in different handwriting, discussing local governement affairs. It reads: "Whereas we agreed at W. Van Valkenburgs that it woud be best to have all the Inhabitants to sine that Assosiation. I have considered it ones more and found it was againast the Resolves of the Congress. so I thought with your consent that it woud be best to Delay that till our New Committee (illegible) form and (illegible) to Consider (crossed out) it ones more in Company wt them Which way to put it Execu"
