Scope and Contents File contains materials related to William Decker's approval for a pension following his service in the Civil War. Included is a letter from P. W. Hallenbeck to "Captain Bagley" [John Bagley] concerning Hallenbeck's wish to see his friend William Decker appointed keeper of the lighthouse at Four Mile Point in recognition of his service. later materials concern the collection of William Decker's pension by his widow Alice Decker.

Scope and Contents File contains a resolution extending thanks to Addison Delamater and family for their hospitality during Memorial Day Celebrations in 1912. Document is signed by surviving veterans of the Civil War from Athens who were entertained by the Delamaters at their home. Names on the document include: George S. Nichols, Augustus Goeller, William Bogardus, George Bogardus, Andrew Ridgeman, Freeman Rossman, Samuel Sprague, Addison Scott, George Garrison, and David Jackson.
