Includes records of the creation of the Board of Trustees in 1872, as well as the appointment of a Superintedent of the grounds. Also includes minutes of annual and special meetings of the Board through 1892. Other item of interest is an early annual report of the Association written by Secretary S.G. Austin.

File contains property and real estate papers of Eliza Joesbury and Elizabeth Joesbury of Catskill. Of note is a deed of Elizabeth Joesbury conveying lands to the Hudson River Day Line which are described as lying to the north of Main Street and west of Dock street peviously conveyed to Eliza Joesbury by Emily Powers and Caroline Powers in 1872. The parcel was part of a grant for the flats north of Catskill Creek given to John Cantine in 1795 and surveyed in 1805 by John Kierstead.
