The full title of this survey is "A Map of a tract of land on the Northerly side of the Schoharie Kill in the Great Hardenbergh Patent the property of Bacon, Tomlison, and Day surveyed and run into lots in the Month of July AD 1786 by William Cockburn and John Cox." This map of the Kiskatom Patent, lying north of the modern hamlet of Palenville in the western part of the Town of Catskill, was prepared by William Cockburn showing its division among three proprietors following the Revolutionary War.
