Scope and Contents This register contains chronological entries giving the name of remitters and payees of money orders handled by Louis Teich as postmaster in Leeds. the entries are broken into eight columns under which is entered the date, consecutive number of the order, remitter of order, payee, post office drawn upon, order amount, fee recieved, and date of repayment if such was the case. Names given under the remitter column are almost exclusively local residents.

Teich's General Store Scrapbook Four, 1914 - 1929

Scope and Contents Scrapbook four contains wholesaler invoices and receipts for the years 1914-1929 during the period when Louis Teich and Harry Teich were active in the operation of the store. Included within are invoices similar to those in earlier scrapbooks which convey a sense of the scope of goods offered by the General Store. Also within is a selection of letterhead of the general store, as well as some correspondence with the United States Postal Service regarding operation of the Post Office in Leeds.

Scope and Contents Scrapbook three contains a selection of papers of Louis Teich as owner and operator of Teich's General Store and the Leeds Post Office for the earliest decade of the twentieth century. Scope and Contents Scrapbook two comprises almost exclusively a selection of wholesaler invoices issued to Louis Teich for roughly fifteen years around the turn of the 20th century. These invoices convey a comprehensive look at the types of goods and products offered by Teich's General Store at the beginning of the 20th century and the process by which the Store maintained and adjusted its stock of goods.
