Scope and Contents
This series comrpises miscellaneous documents of the Teich family of Leeds. Of particular note is a selection of translated letters of Henry Teich between himself and family overseas in Germany following his immigration to the United States in the 1850s. Also included is a large collection of handwritten german-language documents likely of Henry Teich which have not been translated.

This register contains chronological entries giving the name of remitters and payees of money orders handled by Louis Teich as postmaster in Leeds. the entries are broken into eight columns under which is entered the date, consecutive number of the order, remitter of order, payee, post office drawn upon, order amount, fee recieved, and date of repayment if such was the case. Names given under the remitter column are almost exclusively local residents.
