Scope and Contents This extensive survey of the lands east and south of the Kiskatamanisha Patent [Kiskatom] shows the divided lands of David Abeel made among his heirs as well as the lands of William Cockburn and his family to the south on ajoining patents. The map's bounds extend northward to the boundaries of the Catskill and Kiskatamanisha Patents, westward to the lands of Vincent Matthews and others, south to the Patent of Cornelius Ten Broeck, and east to the banks of the Caders Kill [Kaaterskill Creek]....

Scope and Contents In 1795 John Cantine was granted the tidal flats on the northern mouth of the Catskill Creek. The lands were broken into large tracts and subdivided in order to convey the land evenly by ballot to seven proprietors a decade later in 1805. This map, prepared by John Kiersted on behalf of the proprietors shows the color coded divisions or "classes" with a number and letter assigned to each subdivision of each lot.
