The bulk of the collection comprises the assessment rolls of the Town of Coxsackie from roughly 1940 to 1980, and are the original bound rolls kept by the Town Clerk. Municipal Minutes and Ordinances of the Village of Athens

Scope and Contents The Minutes Books and Ordinances of the Village of Athens contain the proceedings of the Village Government dating to its first recorded meeting in 1805. All decisions and relevant disucssions had during proceedings of the Village Government are recorded in these ledgers, as are names of present officers. Interestingly, the locations of meetings are also recorded as are various decisions regarding early licenscing and economic development efforts.

Scope and Contents This scrapbook contains a selection of news clippings and ephemera concerning the Catskill Babe Ruth League and local law enforcement. The majority of the clippings are of a column called "Pipeline" by "Timpav" from the Catskill Daily Mail, which Joseph Pavlak was managing editor of for six years subsequent to his time working for the paper as a reporter beginning in 1949. Various news items about Catskill are interspersed among local sports team clippings.

Record Books of Justice of the Peace Stephen Platt

Scope and Contents Collection comprises two ledgers of cases heard and ruled on by Stephen Platt, Justice of the Peace for the Town of Freehold between 1792 and 1799. The cases within each ledger relate primarily to civil complaints, and the decisions rendered generally resulted in the payment of settlements. Both of the books are covered with a sheet of brown paper and bound with linen thread, though the first ledger has separated into two blocks.
